The difference between One Direction and a real...
One Direction: 5 teenage boys who don't play any instruments, just sing. They sing songs which they didn't even write, that were written for them. Dance around on stage just singing, singing songs about about girls and love in which all of their songs are the same. They are NOT a band.
Asking Alexandria: 5 boys- one singer who sings clean and unclean vocals, one guitar player who does back up singing, another guitar player, a bass player, and a drummer. They write their own music and its not all about girls, their lyrics are meaningful- about their struggles with drugs and alcohol, never being alone and always having someone by your side, becoming the person you are today based on the things you've been through. Those are meaningful lyrics that are worth listening to. They give their all on stage and you can definitely tell during their performance. They are 5 talented men who deserve more recognition than One Direction, who clearly have no talent. Asking Alexandria is the perfect example of a real band. They are "a shiny example of rock and roll."
